High Hood Mitigation Bank is 31.13 acres located in Cumberland County, within the Emory River Watershed and Daddys Creek headwaters. The project reaches also include unnamed tributaries to Daddys Creek. Historically, the site was utilized for as pastureland for hay and cattle, as well as silviculture. The High Hood Mitigation Bank was approved by Nashville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in February of 2024. The mitigation plan includes stream restoration and enhancement using natural channel design techniques to provide a functional lift capable of restoring natural channel hydrology, hydraulic, and geomorphic functions. This project focuses on stream restoration, enhancement, and preservation by improving floodplain connectivity, lateral migration, bed form diversity, and riparian vegetation.

High Hood Mitigation Bank is approved to offset stream impacts within the Emory (HUC 06010208) watershed as its primary service area and Watts Bar Lake (HUC 06010201) and Lower Clinch (HUC 06010207) watersheds as its secondary service area.  The service area includes portions of Cumberland, Morgan, Roane, Anderson, Union, Knox, and Rhea Counties.
